This role will be the finance lead to partner with Amazon's IT software portfolio optimization strategy, managing the evaluation, negotiation, and optimization of $2.3B in third-party software investments across Amazon IT, AWS, and Amazon Procurement organizations. The position will architect frameworks for usage-driven contract optimization, centralized contract management, and AI-powered procurement analysis to drive significant cost savings while establishing sustainable cost management processes. The role requires cross-organizational influence without direct authority, partnering with IT sourcing teams, procurement organizations, and business stakeholders globally to challenge established norms and drive portfolio rationalization. - 12 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 7 years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience - Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages - MBA, or CPA - Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
