your future with us. Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking
for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Interiors Responsibility
team in Everett, WA! The IRC is the strategic leader of innovative
Interior Systems for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and ensures
program success by providing the “Best Value” aircraft interiors
through integrating the value stream, co-managing the total Supply
Chain, manufacturing emergent and critical interiors assemblies,
and developing new technologies. We are looking for individuals who
are passionate about problem solving, engaging with the production
system and doing complex data analysis. Quality Engineers support
existing production through root cause analysis and process
improvement techniques involving defect reduction, verification
system design and improvements, and ensure compliance to
requirements. Our quality engineers are involved in complex
engineering and production challenges and have a critical role in
the continuous improvement of our quality management system,
products and production system. Position Responsibilities: -
Utilizes statistical methods to develop and maintain systems of
assessing production system health - Designs and maintains
conformance system inspection points and methods to optimize
product quality and production efficiency - Performs root cause
analysis activities and implements resulting countermeasures to
drive continuous production system improvement - Participates in
Quality System audits and Engineering specification reviews to
ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory
requirements - Plan First Article Inspections for new airplane
programs and airplane program derivatives. - Perform Measurement
Systems Analysis and Gage R&R activities to understand and
minimize measurement device and operator variation for new and
existing measurement tools - Conduct thorough risk assessments to
identify potential quality issues in products and processes and
develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on
project timelines and customer satisfaction. This position is
expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required
to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): - Bachelor's degree
in a technical, engineering, or STEM field - 9 years related work
experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data;
summarizing findings; developing conclusions Preferred
Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Experience with
advanced composites - Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar
QMS standard - Experience in conducting a Root Cause Corrective
Action (RCCA) associated with a complex technical issue -
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems through diverse
approaches Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience
typically acquired through advanced technical education from an
accredited course of study in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9
or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination
of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD4 years' related
work experience, Master7 years' related work experience). In the
USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required,
