Mental Health Therapist/Clinician III - Part Time
Edmonds, WA
Compass Health is currently looking for a Mental Health
Therapist/Clinician III for our Aurora House location!
Our Residential Treatment Facilities (RTFs) serve adults age 18 and
over diagnosed with severe and persistent psychiatric disorders.
Services include assessment, psychiatric evaluation, medication
monitoring, case management, counseling, groups, mental health
education, crisis resolution, and skills training regarding
activities of daily living. The program focuses on helping
residents reach increasing levels of recovery in order to
successfully transition back into the community.
What you will be performing
The Clinician III works in conjunction with the Program Manager to
ensure that staff of the Residential Treatment Facilities (RTF)
have appropriate supervision and that clients receive high quality
clinical care. This position provides a range of clinically
indicated services including but not limited to individual
psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and case management
services for adults/older adults with behavioral health conditions.
This position is responsible for assessing client functioning and
needs, and partnering with the client and the care team to develop
an individually tailored care plan designated to promote recovery.
This position is responsible for ensuring consistent and
appropriate clinical programming at the RTFs. This position will
also provide clinical supervision to mental health technicians
and/or interns as needed.
What you will be carrying along
MA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science related field.
Current Washington State Li-censure or equivalent in Social Work,
Marriage & Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling
required.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Evidence-Based
Practices, or interest and ability to learn.
Washington State Approved Supervisor Training must be completed
prior to providing clinical supervision.
Valid Washington State Drivers License including vehicle and
appropriate insurance, if applicable.
Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check, which may
or may not include an additional search by DSHS.

Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask

General computer proficiency, including the ability to utilize
electronic medical record systems.
