Description Scrub and OB Technician - Family Childbirth Center at Swedish Edmonds Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Scrub/OB Technician participates as a member of the peri-operative team in the safe and effective care to assigned groups of patients in a variety of age groups, which may include neonatal, adolescent, or adult. Required qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized program in Surgical Technology or a combination of education and directly related work experience.
• Valid Surgical Technologist Registration with the State of Washington.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers required at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN). Preferred qualifications:
  • Surgery Technologist certification.
  • Recent experience as an OB Scrub Tech or surgical technologist in an acute care facility.
