our Early Supports team in providing occupational therapy to
children with neurodevelopmental disorders and provide education on
each childs therapy program to parents and other professionals
involved in childs care. This is a floating position assigned to
any one of our four campuses (Bellevue, Bothell, Redmond, Renton)
based on staffing needs to support covering temporary absences or
unexpected growth. The Floating OT is given the opportunity to
apply for an open position at a preferred location as one becomes
available or may continue in the floater role.Principal Duties &
ResponsibilitiesDuties and responsibilities may include, but are
not limited to the following:This floating position may be assigned
to any one of our 4 campuses (Bellevue, Bothell, Redmond, Renton).
Assignments are based on campus needs e.g. covering a temporary
staff absence or unexpected growth. OT is given the opportunity to
fill an open position at a preferred location when one becomes
availableWork with birth-3-year-old pediatrics to provide therapies
and other servicesAssess each childs functional motor
skills/abilities/challenges; conduct formal evaluations of
performance; design and implement treatment plan in Center, home,
or community child care as needed; prepare progress reports; review
medical reports; seek medical referral, consultation, and advice as
necessary; and maintain accurate records of contact for each
childEvaluate home, daycare, or school situation through site
visits if indicated; educate family/care givers in therapeutic
interventions; design and/or assist in developing and ordering
adaptive equipmentParticipate in the development of each childs
total program as part of the interdisciplinary teamCoordinate
enrollment/transitions into appropriate community or Kindering
Center programs, support groups, and other services; coordinate
case management meetings with community agenciesAssist in
supervision of student therapistsFacilitate Individual Family
Service Plan conference in cooperation with Family Resource
CoordinatorProvide or support outreach, intensive informing, care
planning, coordination, anticipatory guidance for complex health
needs, assistance to access services, consultation, resource
development, interagency coordination, training, program planning,
quality management, and administration to support Medicaid
programsRequired Education & ExperienceB.S. degree in Occupational
Therapy; master's degree preferredValid Washington State
professional licenseLooking for additional language proficiency
with Spanish preferredTraining in neurodevelopmental treatment
techniques preferredExperience and comfort with interacting with
diverse populationsInfant feeding experience highly preferredStrong
teamwork skillsAbility to demonstrate dependability and
punctualityMinimum PrerequisitesPossess a valid Washington State
DOH OT license or be in process of obtaining onePossess a valid
Washington State CPR/First Aid certification or be in process of
obtaining oneDemonstrate skill in word processing and familiarity
with MS Word and ExcelPass Washington State DSHS criminal history
and background check and FBI fingerprint checkStrictly maintain
confidentiality of all client informationMaintain valid unexpired
proof of identity during employmentPass tuberculosis testAbility to
show proof of current immunizations, including COVID-19 and MMR
vaccine or titer test**Note: Kindering requires all employees to be
