Pay Information $80 per hour About The Position Adelphi is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee correctional healthcare nursing operations in Whatcom County, Washington State. Supervise, train, and support nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control procedures, and medication administration standards. Coordinate patient care and triage processes in collaboration with the Medical Director and other providers. Conduct regular audits, quality improvement initiatives, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with NCCHC, WASPC, and applicable local, state, and federal standards. Participate in administrative and interdisciplinary team meetings. Oversee scheduling and coverage planning to maintain 24/7 nursing presence. Serve as a liaison with internal healthcare leadership and custody personnel for operational coordination.
