Job Description:
Description The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist, under the
direction of the Department Director and Manager is expected to
work independently performing a variety of echocardiography
procedures for use in the diagnosis of heart disorders. The Cardiac
Ultrasound Technologist will independently perform transthoracic
echocardiograms (TTE) on adult, children and neonatal patients and
prepare a preliminary echo report for review by the interpreting
Physician or LIP. Stress echocardiograms, both pharmacologic and
exercise, will be performed by the Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist
with the assistance of a qualified Respiratory Care Practitioner,
Cardiologist or other Licensed Independent Practitioner specialized

a row. Required qualifications: - Coursework/Training: Graduate of
a formal approved Cardiac Sonographer program. - Upon hire:
National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American
Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Vendor Managed) Or -
Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing
International (Vendor Managed) - Required upon hire: National
