Medical Assistant Location: Seattle, WA Agency: Pride Health Pay: $25 to $29 per hour Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility based in Seattle, WA 98104. This is a 3 month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Details: Job Name: Medical Assistant Location: Seattle, WA 98104 Duration: 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension) Payrate: $25-29/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience. Schedule: We are open to candidates seeking either a part-time or full-time role. 0.6 FTE: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM 0.8 FTE: Wednesday off | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM 1.0 FTE: 4/10 schedule: Wednesday off | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM 5/8 schedule: Standard 8-hour shifts (schedule available) Job Responsibilities: Room pediatric patients, obtain and document vital signs, and prepare patients and exam rooms for provider visits Manage EHR in-basket activities, including patient messages, test results, and task routing per clinical protocols Administer pediatric immunizations in accordance with provider orders, safety standards, and vaccine schedules Perform CLIA-waived testing (e.g., rapid strep, flu, urinalysis) and accurately document results Complete and manage clinical paperwork, including school forms, physicals, referrals, and medical records requests Perform basic instrument processing, including cleaning, disinfection, and setup per infection control guidelines Qualifications: Highschool/GED or equivalent. Current, Washington State Medical Assistant Certification. Pediatrics or Family Medicine would be ideal.
