Washington, 98122! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

years in a Level III or IV NICU License: Current and active nursing

Must-Have: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level III or IV
NICU Ability to float to different campuses if required Experience
with high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries Description:
Position is for a registered nurse specializing in neonatal
intensive care. Candidates must have experience working with
neonates, particularly those born at 23-24 weeks gestation.
Responsibilities include the management of various neonatal
conditions using CPAP/BiPap, high-frequency vents, and other
modalities. The nurse will administer blood and blood products,
perform cardio versions, and utilize cooling and warming blankets.
Feeding tube management and central line care are also essential
tasks. There is a dedicated admit nurse on the unit, and travelers
typically do not admit babies. This position may require some
floating to pediatrics or other campuses based on staffing needs.
The average census in the unit is around 50 patients, with a total
of 77 beds available. Interdisciplinary support from various
services is available to assist in patient care. Travelers are
expected to respond to high-risk deliveries and participate in
neonatal surgeries as needed. Candidates must be prepared to meet
compliance requirements promptly after offer acceptance.
