We are deploying a central hub of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry team members to provide consult services through onsite, telepsychiatry and telephonic interventions. The use of the hub-and-spoke delivery design sets the stage for MultiCare to cast a vital behavioral health lifeline to our network of hospitals.This 1.0 FTE (Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, no afterhours or weekend call) combined consult liaison psychiatrist & faculty role will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide service to 5 locations in the MultiCare Puget Sound region. The goal is to offer a collaborative work environment while serving a broad variety of patients in various inpatient and emergency department settings. The qualified candidate would lead the care team in providing psychiatric consultation-liaison services for patients in the acute care setting and emergency departments through assessments, diagnostics, consultations, and treatment recommendations.
