Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Contracts Manager to support our rapidly growing Buy with Prime and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment businesses. The successful candidate has excellent communication skills, and will support drafting and negotiating contracts, help develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways, and build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly. You will also participate in team-wide meetings, departmental goals and collaborative projects, and have access and visibility to business leadership. Key job responsibilities - Draft and negotiate commercial agreements on an as needed basis - Identify key risks/gaps in underlying contracts and recommend changes to mitigate risk - Respond promptly, accurately, and crisply to business requests for legal advice and escalate appropriately where required - Develop and maintain: contract templates, training materials on contracting, confidentiality, company policies, standard operating procedures for contracting processes and track associated metrics, and other legal resources - Support the continuous improvement of processes impacting our legal team and the businesses we support A day in the life Your day will be a blend of strategic problem-solving and collaborative engagement. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
