Gaming Project Manager
Our gaming client is looking for a Project Manager to assist with
managing the short- and long-term goals of the their Program,
including closed betas, marketing campaigns and events. Our ideal
candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced
environment and juggling details for multiple projects, and open to
some degree of interaction with fans and customers.
In this role, you'll work closely with the Producer, as well as
internal and external teams, to ensure betas are launched and
maintained successfully. You will also play a part in the continued
development of the Insider community.
The day-to-day tasks will vary dependent on the title in beta and
needs of the Insider Program at the time, but key responsibilities
--- Surfacing, tracking and reporting on the individual tasks
needed to carry out a beta successfully.
--- Creating release readiness content and playbooks for the
Community team to utilize when supporting the Insider Program and
--- Coordinating cross-team to hit deadlines related to events,
communication strategy, beta participation and engagement.
--- Assisting the wider team by creating meeting notes and tracking
actions that arise from specific meetings or discussions.
--- Providing flexible assistance for the Support Coordinator and
Content Coordinator as needed.
--- 2+ years' experience in Project Management, or a related field
that required high-level coordination (preferably in tech).
--- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
--- Experience communicating with customers who are passionate
about a brand.
--- Strong organizational skills that contribute to documenting a
plan and helping others accomplish their assigned tasks.
--- Constant drive to learn and be adaptable to ever-changing
surroundings and community trends.
--- Ability to work flexing hours as your project demands.
--- Passion for and understanding of gaming and gaming culture.
The ideal candidate will also possess:
--- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or other project management
--- PC technical knowledge & PC gaming experience
--- Flighting/beta experience
