Job Description:
NewFields is seeking a Senior Environmental or Civil Engineer to
join our hardworking and innovative team of scientists and
engineers to conduct engineering analyses and field investigations,
prepare designs for sediment remediation (dredging, treatment,
capping), aquatic environmental restoration, and provide oversight
of construction management duties for projects designed by our
team. You will own or play a lead role in building new client
relationships, enhancing existing client relationships, planning
and scoping new projects, managing and mentoring our staff, and
ensuring our work is executed with the highest standards. Reporting to the NewFields Sediment Management & Marine Sciences
Partners, you will collaborate closely with the rest of our science
and engineering team, as well as our 17 other NewFields office
locations. You will be ready to tackle any complex issues thrown
your way, while maintaining a positive attitude and an eye towards
the future of the business. Status: Full-Time Classification: Exempt Job Location: Edmonds, WA Compensation: $90,000+ Annually; BOE About Us: NewFields is an environmental, engineering, and construction

our clients complex business needs. Our corporate office is located
in Atlanta, GA. Our Edmonds, WA office is in the heart of downtown
Edmonds within easy walking distance to several restaurants, coffee
shops, and retail stores. We are a short walk to the ferry terminal
and Brackett's Landing Beach Park. Requirements Education: A Masters or Bachelors degree in
environmental or civil engineering. Licensing: Current P.E. license in Washington,
Oregon, and/or California, or ability to obtain P.E. licenses in
these states. Experience: A minimum of at least ten years of
progressively increasing engineering-related experience. Physical Demands: Position requires
sitting/standing for long periods of time, extended hours working
on a computer and lifting up to 30 pounds. Field assignments can be
in a variety of environments and cultures, including difficult and
diverse climates. During field assignments, standing, squatting,
bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds may be required over prolonged
periods of time. Travel: Travel to project sites located in the
United States, and abroad. It is expected approximately 80-90% of
work time will be spent within the home office of the
individual. Work Location: NewFields supports our employees
ability to work from home (remotely) in response to state and local
COVID-19 guidelines. As COVID-19 conditions improve and as state
and local guidelines allow, it is anticipated that the candidate
