testing, instrumentation, certification, manufacturing,
modifications and maintenance with facilities in Seattle, Moses
Lake, and Wichita.About the TeamAeroTEC's Operations Division
provides comprehensive, full-service management of all internal
company operations. The Operations Department is responsible for
administrating and supporting all Departments, implementing
policies and procedure, preparing and analyzing company and
employee information and supporting all client needs. The
Operations Department roles consist of Accounting, IT, Purchasing
and Travel, Human Resources, Document Control, Facilities
(Seattle), Recruiting and Contracts Management.About the RoleThe IT
Support Technician position is responsible for providing technical
assistance and support to maintain the organization's computer
desktop environment (i.e. computer systems, hardware, software) as
well as proprietary company applications, printers, video/IP
conferencing, audio/visual systems, telecommunications and VoIP
systems. The position responds to queries, runs diagnostic
programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements
solutions to ensure customer needs are met and/or exceeded. This
may include installing hardware or software, as well as providing
administrative and internal support of the Company's PCs, printers,
servers, and related equipment.In This Role You Will
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support needs,
including hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers,
mobile devices, and VOIP phones.
- Administer and maintain Windows-based servers, Active
Directory, Office 365, and other cloud or on-premises systems.
- Manage local area network (LAN), wireless access points,
firewalls, and VPN configurations.
- Support ERP systems, engineering software (e.g., CAD tools),
and specialized aerospace applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs and peripherals, including
imaging and patching.
- Maintain data backups, disaster recovery procedures, and
security protocols.
- Monitor system performance and ensure IT operations comply with
internal and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized IT services
or support escalation.
- Document processes, asset inventory, and user guides as
needed.Qualifications
The Skills You Will Bring (Minimum):
- 3+ years of hands-on IT support or systems administration
experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS (10/11), Windows Server
(2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
- Familiarity with networking concepts: TCP/IP, routers,
switches, firewalls, VPNs.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 admin and support (Exchange Online,
SharePoint, Teams).
- Experience with IT security best practices (antivirus,
patching, MFA, endpoint protection).
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and prioritize
tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with
minimal supervision.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks or compliance
requirements (e.g., CMMC).
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Batch, or Python).
- Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V,
VMware).
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology,
Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+,
Microsoft, Cisco).Physical Requirements:The physical demands
