Job Description:
CANDIDATES MUST BE A US CITIZEN 2 years experience required
Shift: Day Background in Material Science, Process Engineering,
Chemistry, and/or Chemical Engineering Candidate will be working
onsite This position will support the development of
products/processes for the Defense industry. Expertise with
some/all of the following process disciplines is desired: wet
etch/clean, metal braze, application of epoxy, wire bond, and
associated test equipment. May evaluate products, parts, or
processes for cost efficiency and reliability and ensure project
completion. Works with other members of the engineering staff to
ensure that development is completed in a timely manner. Requires a
bachelor's degree in area of specialty (Chemistry, Material
Science, Physics, Chemical Engineer, etc) and 2-4 years of
experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a
variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies
on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and
latitude is expected. Conducts research and development activities
for an organization. Applies research theories, principles, and
models when conducting experiments and research activities.
Responsible for summarizing research results and communicating
findings to internal and external bodies. May require a graduate
degree and requires 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a
related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts,
practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to
plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity
and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
