PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-time School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. This role offers the unique opportunity to provide essential support in speech-language therapy services within educational settings, helping children achieve their communicative potential. Working closely with experienced Speech-Language Pathologists, the SLPA will facilitate the execution of therapy plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the implementation of treatment plans. Document student progress and provide feedback to the lead therapist. Prepare therapy materials and set up equipment before sessions. Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. Maintain confidentiality and secure student records. Participate in training and professional development sessions. Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other staff to integrate therapy with educational services. Knowledge of speech-language therapy principles and practices. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills for documentation and report preparation. Experience in using therapy materials and equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
